Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:
Rubber-inked stamp only. Required elements: Name of Notary, commission expiration date, and the words “Notary Public, State of North Dakota”. The seal may not contain any other words, numbers or symbols. The notary stamp must also be surrounded by a border.
Ink color should be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
*NOTE: North Dakota Notarial Statutes mandate the inked stamp. An embosser NOT allowed - ND/2003
